Riddle
In a major league baseball game, a pitcher faced only 27 batters. Every batter he faced, he struck out. He allowed no hits, walks and no runs, or base runners. Yet his team lost 4-0. How could this be?

Well what happened here was Woody Williams started the game for our beloved cards and gave up four runs and didn't get anyone out in the first inning. The brilliant manager La Russa gave him the quick hook because after all it is Woody Williams. Jose Oquendo came out of retirement then came in relief of Woody and pitches 9 innings of flawless grabass.
grabass
An illegitimate compound word, which is a hybrid of the terms, "grab" and "ass." Often introduced as if it were of a competetive nature, but in most cases considered to be an excuse to make contact with the posterior of another person.
